I designed "Mothwater" as a reflection of the quiet beauty of wetlands, migration, and the changing rhythms of nature. Inspired by American folk art, vintage bandanas, and old field guide illustrations, the design brings together great blue herons, moths, winding snakes, wildflowers, and celestial fish in a flowing, interconnected composition.
The muted aqua and rust palette gives the piece a worn-in, sun-faded feel that reminds me of marshlands, river towns, and long evenings outdoors. I wanted the design to feel both rustic and dreamlike — rooted in natural history and Americana, while still carrying a sense of mystery and movement.
